Hasn't this been tried a few times before? Won't work. At best this will be a minor league to the NFL, now that NFL Europe is done. At worst it will go the way of the XFL and USFL.

Also odd is the idea that they will use Ford Field in Detroit. I wonder what they get out of the deal to use the facility.
