pelini seams like a great hire but i feel like nebraska and tom osborne could have tried harder a little harder and gotten a truly great coach

then again les miles compared him to a young bob stoops... but i dont know well see what happens

Okay Pistol-peter, Pelini a great hire, yet you think we could have gotten a truly great coach? Truly...tried harder...a litte. Are you just plain stupid? Who do you have in mind Peter? Turner Gill? We are getting this guy at 1.7 million. We are getting a steal pal. This guy knows his crap. Spend your time reading Better House and Garden. You obviously have no clue the experience this man and his staff have and how it will boost this team back into contention.

LA Riva...Watch the difference this year is compared to last year. Offense, moves the ball nearly the same way (hense keeping Watson on board) and God help us, the defense improves like it probably will, even if we just slow down the opponents running game, were talking a very competative team in the Big XII.

I feel for Missouri and KU in 2 or 3 years. Back to the losing streaks we compiled before.

take a chill pill chip i believe pelini can lead us somewhere but it seemed like osborne really wanted to satisfy the fans

i think pelini is a good coach still and can get us back on top k bro?

jim grobe wanted to bring his whole staff and has completely turned wake forest around...and he won coach of the year a year or two ago

personally that looked like a smarter move

As an LSU fan, I have watched Bo Pellini work and develop the LSU defense. This man is an extremely hard worker and all of the players love and respect him. To a man, the LSU defensive players all had nothing but the utmost respect and appreciation for Bo Pellini and they were estatic when he was allowed to coach them in the BCS game. Les Miles also can't say enough for Bo's input in helping LSU win the BCS Championship.

You guys need to be happy you have a guy like Bo Pellini as your head coach. He will make you proud in a couple of years.

So now will they only give up 50 points per game?

January 9, 2008  11:24 PM ET

Jim Grobe? Did he get interviewed by TO? So TO hires Bo to satisfy the fans? Pistolpete, you have NOTTA CLUE.

Osborne hires a coach to satisfy the fans...why dont you just say TO is an idiot for doing such a thing. You can't. He did it because Bo is the ****. He did a great job in 03 and was awesome at LSU.
