Miles made the correct decision and gave Perriloux more than enough chances to demonstrate he could control himself, but he failed anyway.
My theory is that he has a growing drug problem and that is the reason he failed the drug test obviously, but the Counterfeit ring and attempt to get in the Casino to win money all lead to the need for money to buy drugs.
LSU will be better off in both the short and long run and will still be a very large force to contend with in the SEC. LSU won the BCS National Championship with two unheralded QBs in Matt Mauk (2003), and Matt Flynn (2008). I think we will have a chance for another before the decade is out.
