NEW YORK (AP) - NFL Europe's 15th season will begin April 14 with a rematch of the 2006 World Bowl featuring defending champion Frankfurt hosting Amsterdam, which won the 2005 title.
Opening day also includes Hamburg hosting Cologne, and Berlin visiting Rhein.
The regular season for the six teams will conclude on June 16, and the World Bowl will be played at Frankfurt's Commerzbank Arena on June 23.
``It is great for our first game as reigning World Bowl champions to be in front of our own fans and against the team we beat to win the title,'' said Galaxy coach Mike Jones. ``It will be an exciting occasion. Amsterdam is always one of the best teams in the league and will provide our new squad with a tough test.''

YES!!! Man, I've been waiting all year for the announcement of the schedule. Can't wait to see what 3rd-String QB leads the "world" in passing.

Report Offensive CommentGrossman has thrown more interceptions in 11 games this year than Orton did in all 15 he played last year.
krish | 11/27/06, 04:35 PM
Report Offensive CommentYeah, but Orton only threw like 4 passes, cause they didn't want him to hurt himself.
Josh | 11/27/06, 04:59 PM
Report Offensive CommentBetter he hurt himself, than Grossman hurting the team.

Report Offensive CommentDon't forget Brock Berlin!! And any league that Danny Wonderful shares the record for QB rating for a season, is a winner in my book!
