Tennessee's last marquee win came against Georgia in 2009. Tennessee, a proud school with rich tradition has been floundering around in obscurity since the 2007 SEC championship game. This game wouldn't restore the nations belief in the Vols as a contender, but it would help UT's image on a national scale. At least fans might believe in the Vols as a team that can compete.
Derek Dooley took the Vols to Athens last year looking for a big win, but instead they were thumped by an average Georgia team. No Vol fan can really point the finger to what caused that collapse, but if it happens in Knoxville this year, Dooley might have more than his share of trouble from angry fans. Tennessee fans are hungry for this victory.
Key to the game: The Vols rushing attack is just short of awful at this point and they have no running backs that scare you. No Tennessee opponent is worried about stopping the run, so the focus will be on bringing pressure, and a lot of it up the middle to force Bray to make mistakes. The Vols must rush for 150 yards if they hope to win this game.
