There are only 12 teams still playing. That's right folks, it's playoffs time. Now that the regular season is over I would like to give out my own awards to some teams and players around the league.

Holy Canole We Were Good This Year Award! - The Green Bay Packers
This award is for the surprising team of the year. The Browns are the popular pick here, but come on. The Browns didn't make the playoffs and before the season started they had low expectations. The Packers are the #2 seed in the NFC! Brett Favre had a great year this season and last season everyone wanted him to retire.

What the [Insert Expletive of Your Choice Here] Happened?! Award - The Baltimore Ravens
This award is for the team that didn't live up to expectations. The Ravens and their supposed potent defense had a great regular season last year. They came into this season with high hopes. High hopes that vanished quickly when they lost their season opener to the lowly Bengals. The Ravens finished this season 5-11. Ouch.

Where'd He Go Award - Reggie Bush
This award is for the most disappointing player of the year. Reggie had his chance to shine when Deuce went out with an injury, but he couldn't perform and thanks to the lack of a running game, the Saints struggled. Reggie had 581 rushing yards this season and he averaged 3.7 yards per carry.

Where'd He Come From Award - Derek Anderson
This award is for the most surprising player of the year. Browns fans came into this season thinking "Brady Quinn!" Boy, did Derek change that. He threw for 3,787 yards and 29 touchdowns. Derek almost led this surprising team all the way to the playoffs. The Browns are the runner up for my first award thanks to Derek.

Why Didn't WE Draft HIM Award - Trent Edwards
This award is for the biggest steal of the draft. Trent Edwards was picked by the Buffalo Bills in the 3rd round in the 2007 NFL Draft. Five quarterbacks were drafted ahead of Trent. Edwards outperformed them all. Some of those quarterbacks barely played. Trent didn't put up flashy stats, but he managed to get the wins.

Most Valuable Player - Tom Brady
Brady set an NFL single season record with 50 touchdown passes and led the Patriots to the first 16-0 regular season ever. Brady led the league in many statistical categories and dominated defenses all season long. He's the obvious choice for this award. Basically, all that he needs is 16-0.

The Team That Makes You Wet Yourself - Jacksonville Jaguars
They are a very physical team with a quarterback that doesn't make mistakes. Their defense is good and it is made up of monstrous guys. Fred Taylor and Jones-Drew will run right at you and knock you down. These guys can lay a hurtin' on you. Try to find me one team that would want to play these guys. Good luck, you'll need it.

Most Intriguing Relationship of the Year - Rodney Harrison and Brian Billick
Did you see that kiss Brian blew Rodney? *Whistles*. I wonder what Rodney said to him right before that. Rodney must be devastated that Billick lost his job. Poor Rodney. Remember to wait five days before you call him Rodney. You don't want to seem desperate. Or is it three? Ah, whatever.

The Most Important Thing We Learned This Season:
Rodney Harrison is a loving, caring guy. I don't really want to explain...
