TO continue the Thread of My favorite PLayers
We Come to the Current Hero
Tim Duncan- I am simply going to post how he is the greatest Power forward of ALL TIME
Here is a C&P from my TD between him and Karl Malone
Over his first 10 full years vs Duncans 10 Full Years
Malone 26.0ppg 10.8rpg 3.1apg 0.8Bpg
Duncan 21.8ppg 11.9rpg 3.2apg 2.5bpg
So you balance 1.1rpg, 0.1apg and 3 times the blocks vs 4.2 points
and If you want to go with supporting cast-
I don;t think you are going to get very far there either Avery and Robinson(who is a BORDERLINE HOF
and Avery/Parker vs Stockton?
Elliot/Manu vs Adrian Dantley, and the VERY underrated Mark Eaton and Jeff Malone
and you CANNOT compare players without looking at the post-season
again first 10 years
Lost round 1 6 times
Lost round 2 2 times
Lost round 3 2 times
It was not until year 11 Karl Saw the Finals- so don;t give me MJ took all the rings either- Jordan played 13 years in Chicago- and only got 6 rings- not like he was Bill Russell
Oh and by the way- Head to Head Duncan Takes it as well
17-8 games over seven years and outscored him by 4.5 ppg and out rebounded him 1.4 per game- and don;t give me Malone was old either- he played only 1 minute per game less than Timmy.

Lets re-break this down by first 10 years shall we?
Duncan Vs Malone (denotes career)
1 ROY/All Rookie Team To All Rookie Team
2 MVPs To ZERO in first 10 years (2 overall)
3 Finals MVP to ZERO first 10 years, (Zero Overall)
All NBA
1st team 9 To 8 (11 overall)
2nd team 1 to 1 (3 overall)
3rd Team 0 to 0 (1 overall)
All Defensive Team
1st team 7 to ZERO (3 overall)
2nd Team 3 to 1 (1 overall)
All Star Games
9 to 9 (14 overall)
and the 50 greatest was a crock and most people would agree with me- and If they redid the top 50 correctly Duncan is in that one
Duncan has got MORE awards than Malone in his first 10 years and Malone cannot TOUCH him defensively
-- how I lost this I have Idea- but does NOT change the fact Duncan is my faviorite current player and a WORTHY successor to Big Game James and Zo.
