I knew it. I just knew it and I siad it a hundred times before the game. Gruden made a mistake resting all his players the last two weeks of the regular season. The Bucs had no chance on Sunday. It was never close. I was there and was very excited the way the first quarter went, but then suddenly it was like a switch was clicked and the game was over. Once Spurlock fumbled to open the third quarter, there was absolutely no chance. Garcia looked rusty. Where was Galloway? What happened to Earnest Graham? It was just embarassing. Garcia cannot be too upset considering the incredibly hot wife he had waiting for him after the game. Going home to someone as beautiful as Carmella makes the game long forgotten.
So what happens next? Do you keep Gruden? Do you find someone else? There are some glaring holes on offense, which has been the case since 1976. They must draft a receiver. Garcia is a short term solution. Is McCown the answer for the future? Who knows? But I will say that I have always been a Gruden supporter, but his lack of prep for this game and his lame play calling have me questioning his ability to continue as coach. Plus, that glaring mistake of resting everyone for two games. Big mistake. You must have momentum heading into the playoffs!
BTW, great to see the hated Ohio State team lose again last night. If they never win another game I'll be thrilled.
Namaste.

Gruden isn't entirely to blame though. That defense looked geriatric after the first quarter. Ronde Barber and the D-Line looked sluggish and Derrick Brooks played poorly and out of character.

You are correct. The defense wqas on fire for the 1st quarter and then suddenly disappeared. There is no explaining that.
