Flambo and I have both posted frequently in this group, and many a time we have conflicted on our opinions. Well this week we face each other in fantasy football. So it is time to see who really knows what's up. Here's a breakdown of the match-up (I'm going to write this like a Superstar referring to myself as Grillz just to help people keep track of who's players I am speaking about, not because I'm a ****):
QB
Flambo: Aaron Rodgers v StL Yahoo projection: 26.58
Grillz: Mark Sanchez v Mia YP:12.51
Obviously, Flambo is going to be the heavy favorite in this position. Normally Grillz' starting QB is Rivers, but he is on bye. Leaving me with Sanchez to just put up any points.
WR
Flambo:
Roddy White v Carolina YP: 11.03
Preston Parker v NO YP: 3.45
Reggie Wayne v Cin YP: 5.84
Grillz:
Greg Jennings v StL YP: 12.33
Victor Cruz v Buffalo YP: 6.93
Hines Ward v Jac YP: 7.53
The Yahoo projections are in Grillz' favor here, and I think Reggie Wayne might start getting some better #s now that Pierre Garcon has stepped up. Important thing about Jennings, is he can help counter the Rodgers advantage... assuming Rodgers targets Jennings the most, damn Finley.
RB
Flambo:
Fred Jackson v NYG YP: 11.98
Ryan Torain v Phi YP: 9.67
Grillz:
Ahmad Bradshaw v Buffalo YP: 12.21
Ray Rice v Houston YP: 21.31
Clearly this is where Grillz makes up for the gap between Rodgers and Sanchez. Torain is gutsy call. He could be a big play this week, or a dud. This is the life of trying to play a RB with Mike Shanahan as HC.
Ray Rice is coming off a bye week, and has a good match-up with Houston now without Mario Williams for the rest of the year.
Bradshaw and Jackson should be a push.
TE
Flambo:
Owen Daniels v Baltimore YP: 7.61
Grillz:
Vernon Davis v Detroit YP: 10.94
I would call this a push, but give slight edge to Grillz because the Baltimore D is the Baltimore D and doesn't give up as many TDs as the Lions.
K
Flambo:
Connor Barth v NO YP: 8.04
Grillz:
Mason Crosby v StL YP: 10.74
Crosby is going to get more scoring opportunities, and again helps counter some of the edge from Rodgers. I will give the edge to Barth though, since FGs are worth more than XPs. It's just simple math.
Defense
Flambo:
Baltimore v Houston YP: 8.81
Grillz:
NE v Dallas YP: 8.85
Clearly Baltimore is the better Defense. New England is facing a Dallas team coming off of bye with a "healthy" Miles Austin. So the only real question is, how many TDs will Tony Romo throw for the Patriots? If he throws just 1, you have to go with NE.
Final analysis:
Flambo:
YP Total: 93.01
Grillz
YP Total: 103.35
On paper Grillz is going to be the winner, but that is why they play the game. The key players are going to be Aaron Rodgers, Greg Jennings, and Ray Rice.
Rodgers is easily the point getter between both teams, but will Jennings help soften the blow? Does Ray Rice make up for the mis match? Will see on Sunday!

I don't doubt the looks. I just don't think he'll get into the endzone.
