College football's best conference
The other big winner in Monday night's national title game was the SEC, which reaffirmed its status as the best league in college football. LSU's comfortable 38-24 victory over Ohio State in the Bowl Championship Series title game came a year after Florida's 41-14 dismantling of the Buckeyes in the title game. Those runaway victories have helped create the perception that the SEC is distancing itself from other conferences.

Until proven otherwise it is the SEC. You got Michigan fans running around here saying that they killed or smoked Florida. I'm a Michigan fan but they didn't smoke or kill Florida. They won a game. Florida in my mind was the better team but sometimes the better team loses.
