Poor Carl; he don't get no respect. I loved the way Kyle handled it, just sat in the car and nodded at Carl. If Carl doesn't want hard racing he might look into checkers or chess. After Carl walked away from Kyle the reporter asked him what was said and he actually said he was upset that Kyle was racing him so hard. They were in a race and that's usually what you do in a race. Poor Carl.
J.J. is 35 points out but as much as I don't care for him, I won't count him out just yet. Knaus always seems to have another card up his sleeve. J.J. didn't win 5 in a row by being lucky, the guy can drive.

Watched most of the race....very surprised at JJ hitting the wall.......Chad & JJ are just not in sinc as strong as they normally are.......something amiss there......but JK is right....Chad always has "extra cards" up his sleeve....(not exactly what JK said, but means the same thing LOL)

Was hoping to see Jr move up a spot or 2 .....his 19th place finish is not great......but he still finished the highest of the HMS drivers......(as a Jr fan I have to grab at the little things LOL).

Overall, this Chase is more interesting than last year......the top guys keep moving up and down.

Anyone watching the Indy race? Lap 12 there was a scary wreck involving 10+ cars. Looks like everyone is ok though.

Spoke too soon 15 involved, several drivers being treated extensively in the care center.

this does not look good .... 10 minutes after the drivers / owners go into for a meeting ... then the guy in charge for so walk over to it ...

At this point I don't think they will be racing anymore today one way or another.

I have to wonder if the drivers who started the impromptu meeting by walking into the Indy Car trailer have something to do with the full meeting, as in the drivers might be talking about not restarting the race. Pretty much everyone said they don't like the "pack racing" they are doing at the track.

I just have to wonder if NASCAR is watching and learning from this for when they are "pack racing" (or attempting to) next week.

I just told my wife that the news won't be good. It NEVER takes almost three hours to announced "he's OK". Prayers and thoughts for the families.......

Very sad day. Dan was a class act. Had just inked a new deal to drive for Michael A.

I recorded the race and watched Sunday morning. I thought it was a pretty good race. Any race where the best Hendrick finish is 19th is a good race. Matt Kenseth has been strong all season, I let out a sigh ov relief when he passed Kyle.

Brad k just never got it together, one more bad finish and he's done, but Harvick is still within striking distance.

It's a shame about Dan Wheldon. May he RIP.

NASCAR is a lot safer than Indy and cars are less liely to go airborn. They had the pack for years at Daytona and Talladega, and Dale Earnhardt was the last death at either, and safety has been a top concern since then. before him, I don't recall the last death at Daytona or Talladega.
