I haven't been on fannation all that long, but it's been long enough to be frustrated by some aspects of the TD process.  I'm certain this has been written about ad nauseum, so I'll keep it brief.

I've noticed that people frequently vote before arugments are made, and can't figure why.  The whole point of a TD is to debate an issue, and it's not a debate until both sides have had a say.  Admittedly, I don't always wait for three complete arguments on both sides.  But both TDers deserve at least one chance to put down their thoughts before being judged.  This is particularly applicable in TDs where the creator allows the challenger to argue first.  I just came from a TD page where 10 votes had been cast based on the title alone.  This makes people think twice before throwing a topic out there.

I believe it was C-C-C who suggested that names be removed from TDs until after the voting to prevent people from casting votes based on the arguer rather than the argument.  I could get behind that idea.  But at the very least, voting should not be possible until 2 arguments from each side have been presented.
