03:30 PM ET 10.21 | The first 3 threads I read, through the first 10 comments, were meet and greets. "Hi X!" "Hi Y!" "How's your day going?" "Well, thank you. How's yours?" "Great! Hi Z!" "Hey, Y!" Seriously, folks. This isn't a chat room. :P And don't mistake this as passive-aggressive. I'm just not sure what the ToS allows us to say, so I'm not going to name names. You know who you are. I'm sure the 15-20 of you find yourselves highly entertaining, but the other 5000 active users are most likely as nauseated as me. If I wanted to listen to boring people talk about their boring lives, I'd dust off my AOL software. ;)

Well, I will tell you that it's not going to change. These people have been on FN for a long time and enjoy each other's company (NFL, MLB, NBA and even Soccer).

So, what you can do to avoid it in the future is to figure out which thread is being hijacked for the day. It's pretty easy to do - most threads with a small amount of comments are sticking to the topic. Others with 200 or more comments by 10am are the hijacked threads.

Anyway, I enjoyed reading all your rant blogs!
