Well, the second round of the playoffs is here, and the juggernauts are finally playing. Here is your FanNation NFL Analyst, FaustoCarmonaFan, to break down the weeks games for you.

San Diego Chargers at Indianapolis Colts: Well, the last team to beat the Colts while they actually tried to win the game was the Bolts, and they are confident they can do it again. In that game, Peyton Manning threw an ugly 6 INTs and Vinetari missed a tap-in field goal to win the game. I really don't see either of those fanastic players having another game like that. The Colts D was outstanding this year, Peyton was awesome again, and the running game was once again solid. Meanwhile, Philip Rivers has struggled, and the Chargers have looked pretty bad at times. And look at the coaching matchup: Tony Dungy vs. Norv Turner. Ugh. Wow, I really don't see any way the Chargers will win. The Colts are just really good.

The Prediction: Colts 38, Chargers 10

New York/Jersey Giants at Dallas Cowboys: Well here's the game everyone is talking about. The fighting Jessica Simpsons are playing the Tom Coughlinites. For some reason, everyone is picking the Giants. They say that, "The Cowboys finished badly," or, "Tony Romo will be distracted". Yeah, I don't see that happen. Who's Jersey/A's starting QB? Oh yeah, Eli Manning. There's nooo way he'll have 3 consectutive good games. There's a reason Texas's team went 13-3 this year. They're really talented on both sides of the ball. Usually, when everyone is picking a certain team, the other comes out fighting. In Irving, I think the Cowboy's win.

The Prediction: Cowboys 31, Giants 20.

Jacksonville Jaguars at New England Patriots:  Now, for the clash of the titans. This is the first playoff game I'm really getting excited for. Both teams are awesome, with both teams having great defenses, the Jags having good running game, and the Pats have an OKAY passing game (yeah, sure). Everything my gut tells me points toward Jacksonville. They have an outstanding running game, they're built for the cold weather in Foxboro, David Garrard's been great, and I love that defense. But my brain just screams, "PATRIOTS, YOU IDIOT!" They're undefeated, the passing game is beyond belief, and they seem to always come out on top. But here is the stat of the year: the NFL's leader in passing yards has NEVER won the Super Bowl the same season. That is not good for the Patriots. You can win it all while being pass happy some of the time, but no one does it all the time. During one of these games, the Pats will need to run the ball, and Randy Moss will be no good then. I am so conflicted over this game. So I'm going with my instincts.

The Prediction: Jaguars 31, Patriots 28.

Seattle Seahawks at Green Bay Packers: Boy, what homecoming. Hasslebeck and Holmgreen returing to Lambeau. Hopefully, Hasslebeck won't make a dumb comment again. Last year's Hawks would have definitly beat these Packers, but that was when Shaun Alexander was good. Now, Maurice Morris is carrying the load. AAAAAHHH! The Packers looked so good this year, and Brett Farve has become awesome again. The Seahaks are talented, but they really underacheive. Sorry, but at Lambeau, the Packers are great.

The Prediction: Packers 34, Seahawks 17.

So the conference championships will be Jaguars at Colts and Packers at Cowboys. Boy, that'll be fun.

BONUS: TALES OF UGLINESS

-First off, congratulations to the St. Louis mens basketball team, which put up a whopping 20 POINTS in a game versus George Washington on Thursday. 20 points. In 40 minutes. 25 straght missed shots. Oh my gorsh, that is horrendous. Ya know, that's the Div. I record for least points in a game in the shot clock era. GOOOOOD JOB.

-And my other point, congratulations to the Arizona womens basketball team, who dressed 6 players for their game against Oregon State. Well, 6 is enough. That is, until 2 players foul out. They played the end of the game 4 on 5, and still took the Beavers to OT, and then another. But then 2 more fouled out, and in 2OT, the Wildcats played 2 ON 5. And they still fought through. Talk about a disasterous game.

Thank you, goodnight!

I'm not angry or anything, I'm just making a point. The weather is really nice here in Mass today, so the weather will be in favor of the Patriots.
