11:21 AM ET  10.25 | Here we are for round number 2. With some suggestions of your guys and more info, stats, and observations, changes were made and here's what we have....

 

1. St. Louis Rams - Matt Kalil, OT, USC (Last week - Kalil)

 

It's quite evident that the offense is incredibly stagnant. I flip-flopped over whether the Rams take Justin Blackmon (who I still consider the #1 WR in the draft) or Kalil. In the end, protecting your franchise QB should be priority #1 and Kalil will do just that for the foreseeable future.

 

2. Miami Dolphins - Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford (Last week - Luck)

 

The "Suck For Luck" campaign is in full bore in South Beach. Following a game-winning FG by the Broncos in overtime, Dolphins fans in the stands were seen high-fiving one another. This week, they'll likely turn to Sage Rosenfels to lead the team. So yeah, this is about as no-brainer as no-brainers get.

 

3. Indianapolis Colts - Matt Barkley, QB, USC (Last week - Jonathan Martin)

 

This is another toss-up, in my opinion. I think the Colts SHOULD take another offensive tackle. While they took one last year, protecting Manning for the future has to be their priority. That being said, they learned two things this year. (1) Manning won't be around forever and could be done very soon and (2) Curtis Painter is not the future. Getting a QB for the future who can learn under Manning seems to make the most sense right now.

 

4. Minnesota Vikings - Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford (Last week - Justin Blackmon)

 

By losing, the Vikings are moving farther up in the draft. If they can get either Kalil or Martin, both considered the top OTs in the draft by far, then it'll be a great start to the draft. Ponder showed that he can be the QB of the future last week, but too much of his time was spent running or his life. Shoring up that offense not only for Ponder's sake, but AP's too, has to be their focus this draft.

 

5. Arizona Cardinals - Justin Blackmon, WR, OK State (Last week - Riley Reiff)

 

Two things make this pick likely. First, there isn't another offensive lineman worthy of a top 5 pick yet and I really don't think there will be. Second, the days of Fitzgerald and Boldin are still dancing in Arizona's heads. Pairing Justin Blackmon (6'1, 215 lbs) with Fitz in place of Boldin (6'1, 223 lbs) would be great for Kolb. While they need an OT and defense, going best available here works for them.

 

6. Jacksonville Jaguars - Alshon Jeffrey, WR, South Carolina (Last week - Jeffrey)

 

This week against the Ravens showed how bad the Jags offense is. Go ahead and name a Jags receiver. You can probably name the TE, but that's because he's named after a car more than he's a great player. Gabbert needs someone to grow with and Jeffrey is a monster with ever-improving draft stock.

 

7. Carolina Panthers - Quinton Coples, DE, UNC (Last week - Coples)

 

I think this is a case of selecting the best player available. They could use a WR but none are available at this point, so they'll be left with a more than adequate consolation prize. Coples 4.5 sacks this year and another 5 tackles for loss. He's on pace to come close to matching last year's numbers of 10 sacks and 60 tackles. The Panthers need a pass rusher and that's what Coples is.

 

8. Denver Broncos - Trent Richardson, RB, Alabama Last week - Dre Kirkpatrick)

 

It's becoming more and more apparent that Moreno isn't the answer in Denver. Given Fox's history of loving to run the football, Richardson should fit in quite well and give the Broncos an all-SEC backfield with Tebow and Moreno. The offense needs some more weapons and explosion and Richardson, who is actually going under the radar this year, will provide that.

 

9. Philadelphia Eagles - Vontaze Burfict, LB, Arizona State (Last week - Burfict)

 

Probably the best analysis I've heard of Burfict is that "he is what happens when you kick Ray Lewis' dog." That in itself should tell you how good this kid is and can be. Any comparisons to Ray Lewis are more than fine with me. And luckily for the Eagles, he fills there biggest weakness defensively.

 

10. Seattle Seahawks - Landry Jones, QB, Oklahoma (Last week - Jones)

 

It's more and more clear that Jackson and Whitehurst aren't the answer in Seattle. I laughed at them and the experts talking about the good off-season they had. Well, sitting at 2-4 with their only wins over Arizona and a flukey win over the Giants shows I was right. If your future lies with Tarvaris Jackson, you're screwed. If your future lies with Landry Jones, you have a lot more reasons to be hopeful.

 

11. Cleveland Browns - Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame (Last week - Jared Crick)

 

This offense needs some explosion. They managed just 6 points last week and are 27th in the league in points. I think Colt McCoy is the answer there, but he needs some weapons. Michael Floyd is a start.

 

12. Kansas City Chiefs - Riley Reiff, OT, Iowa (Last week - Barkley)

 

After starting 0-3 and being considered irrelevant, these team has reeled off 3 straight wins and, if they win next week, could be tied atop the division. That being said, you can never have too many good lineman. Reiff is a great value pick at the 12 slot as he could eventually make it up into the top 10. This also helps the run game that they rely so heavily on.

 

13. Tennessee Titans - Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama (Last week - Ryan Broyles)

 

The Titans need a WR, but they can't pass on Kirkpatrick. They are a middle of the pack team in regards to pass defense. Taking Kirkpatrick could put them over the top. And considering the fact that this team has to play Matt Schaub and Peyton Manning twice a year, this could only help them.

 

14. Washington Redskins - Robert Griffin III, QB, Baylor (Last week - Michael Floyd)

 

When the hopes of your team lie in Sexy Rexy Grossman and John Beck each week, you're bound for failure. Handing the reins over to RB3 will instantly add excitement to this offense as Griffin is a dual threat QB and has proven he can throw the ball this year. The pieces are in place offensively with Santana Moss, Chris Cooley, and Tim Hightower (pre-injury), they just need the QB at this point.

 

15. Dallas Cowboys - Alfonzo Dennard, CB, Nebraska (Last week - Dennard)

 

This team's biggest weakness is this year's draft's biggest strength: the secondary. Getting someone of Dennard's talent with the 15th pick should make the Cowboys ecstatic. This defense, led by Rob Ryan, would become that much better when they add Dennard to it, a CB who is already probably better than what Dallas has.

 

16. NY Jets - Brandon Jenkins, DE, Florida State (Last week - Jerel Worthy)

 

The Jets are always looking for ways to bolster that defense. The offense seems to be pretty set right now, and adding Jenkins to this defense makes the Jets defense that much better. Jenkins can get to the QB as he has 3.5 sacks this year, but racked up 13.5 last year.
