Terrelle Pryor, Pennsylvannia's high school phenom, 6' 6", 225lbs, 4.4-40. Who wouldn't want to have this guy on their team.  All reports show Michigan and Ohio St. as the front runners for his services, with scheduled visits to Penn St. and Florida. Now it seems that LSU has been brought into contention, with their repuatation as of late and now a National Championship, does that put them in the top three.

As I said before LSU has the momentum as being a power house as of late, Ohio St. has said they will change their offense for him, Michigan has hired a coach with an offense that is already tailor made for Pryor. Will he chose one of these three teams or will he suprise us all and pick one of the other teams I mentioned or  is there another team out there that was not stated. Okay people let me know where you think he will go.

I always thought Ohio State until recently, but I now think it is Michigan.
When you think about it, his best two choices would be Penn State and Michigan based on the following reason. Michigan because of DickRod, plus he could start next year for them. The problem there is that it will take a little while for the transition of offenses to work out.
Penn State has shown that they are willing to change the offense to the spread, in the case of Michael Robinson. He would also have a chance to start early there. The problem with PSU is that he would have very good contention for the starting job over the next three years.
So in the end, I say Michigan.

I dont think it will be LSU..I dont think he's going to want to go in their and have to compete with Parriloux for the starting job..I think it will be Michigan..it's the perfect fit offensively for Pryor

I still think it will be OSU.

January 15, 2008  09:30 PM ET

Can't see LSU being the final destination. My guess is Ohio State. I really think basketball is in play with him and Thad Matta and his Buckeyes will get the job done.

michigan duh...

January 15, 2008  09:47 PM ET

Thanx for the input: I'm just not so sure I think it will come down to Michigan and Ohio St. Michigan should be alright without him but I would hate to see OSU get him and I sure would love see him in Maize and Blue.

January 15, 2008  10:02 PM ET

Hey well I actually hope that OSU gets him. Wow that's a big guy!

January 16, 2008  09:14 AM ET

Who knows? In our fame and fortune driven society, it'll come down to the best sales pitch rather that the best long-term opportunity. I agree Michifan-- it will most likely come down to your team or mine (unless Pryor LIKES oppressive humidity and heat) and as EJ pointed out, with the basketball factor in play, I think we've got the slight edge...

Hmmm-- has me thinking... gonna go blog now...

Good blog, man. Imposing a question is uncommon in a blog. I don't know though.

January 16, 2008  03:46 PM ET

But i hope Michigan get's him.

January 16, 2008  04:33 PM ET

the fact that LSU is now in the running has to have a strong reason. i wouldn't dismiss him going there because Perrilloux did the exact same thing coming out of high school as the number 1 qb who was lookin at texas and florida state and jumped on LSU late even knowing LSU already had a young jamarcus russel and matt flynn.. LSU's spread style offense is evolving and he likes what he is hearing.. if he redshirted he could be the startin qb the next four years with a powerhouse of a football team with highly physical receivers (michigan is losing all their big time receivers in my opinion).. i wouldn't knock off teams because he may not start because why else would he have FLORIDA and LSU in his top 3? You don't think he knows Tim Tebow is the qb for 2 more years?

January 16, 2008  05:04 PM ET

I think, we're all having dreams of grandeur, wishing he could run our offense for the next four yrs. I guess he is having fun and will keep us all guessing until signing day

January 20, 2008  06:14 AM ET

My guess, Michigan or LSU. This is tough to call. The main reason he is visiting LSU is his good friend signed with them. I don't know how much of a factor that will play. Rods offense is perfect for him, and he's almost gauranteed to start. Plus, the bball coach at UM isn't too shabby. This is his first year with a new team, 1-3-1 is rough at first, but they'l get it. So, i say UM by default. Sorry Bucks fans, you never know. He also has several friends that signed w/ OSU, so it's a TP lottery!

I strongly hope that it's michigan, the new offense in which rich rodriguez plans to install is perfect for Pryor. The chance to start in year one is a major factor. I don't think he will lean toward osu because of their basketball program because lets face it.. He can't play both sports professionally. I really think he's leaning toward michigan for these reasons. 1) first year stater 2) he was interested in west virginia before rich rod signed with mich so was it the coach or the team. 3) michigan always recruits well maybe not next year but soon after he will have some of the nations top players around him. Lets just hope these are his reasons to not just mine GO BLUE

michigan, cause of coach rod & the spread...
