There was an article yesterday on espn.com already touting a potential GB-NE Super Bowl matchup as the greatest ever in terms of players, stories and viewer audience, an advertiser's dream. The point spread as of today is still NE -14 and GB -7. I'm not saying the fix is in, but I dare you to look me in the eye and tell me that the powers that be don't have their fingers crossed that GB and NE win on Sunday. Maybe they'll all be disappointed and San Diego and/or New York fans can say I told you so, but I for one will not be surprised if they get their wish.
