The question that always seems to be coming up in sports discussion is who is the better QB. (Peyton Manning or Tom Brady) The two arguements are look at Manning stats he is setting records like no other but has only won 1 superbowl. Brady however does not have the stats manning does but also doesnt have a great wide receiver like Harrison and even Reggie Wayne. However Brady has won 3 superbowls and is capable of winning a few more as it seems every year the Patriots are competitive.
If you say all that matters for determining the greatness of a QB is rings then where would u rate Marino he has never won a superbowl but was very succesful on the Dolphins. Would you rate Bradshaw and the other QBs as better then Marino just because he never won a superbowl.
If you say that stats matter more then the rings isnt the greatest accomplishment in football winning the superbowl. So wouldnt u judge a QB by the rings he has. Then that would put Marino closer to the bottom and put many QBs ahead of Manning who has broken many of the QB records and has won just 1 superbowl.
I find this a very hard task in determining greatness of a QB because you have to take into account the stats, the supporting cast, the time they played in, and the competition surrounding the QB in determining a QBs greatness.
