At this point, 3 points different and both at the top of their game, I dont think it's anyones
"to lose". I hope they fight for one/two the next two races.

I agree wholeheartedly on this.

Kulwicki built his team from the ground up, Stewart was handed 50% control of the team.

Tony feels he has something to prove, especially after saying they didn't deserve to be in the Chase at Richmond. Plus this is a chance to show they are not just a second tier HMS-lite team.

And the fact that the #48 is having one heck of a meltdown (for them) since starting the Chase. That car just has not run up to par (for them) this year. So this is his best chance to grab another championship.

Unless neither Tony nor Carl can handle the "new" Phoenix, then one of them will win. I would love to see Smoke get his 3rd championship. As for his owner/driver credentials, he just is not in the same situation as what some of us who are older call an owner/driver.

Very likely, I would estimate, that in any meetings about whether to suspend Kryle for the rest of the season, The marketing folks are there shouting NO NO NO and showing all the viewership estimates with bar charts showing "with Kyle viewership" and "Without Kyle Viewership" stats.
