Already around the halfway point of a fun and interesting NFL season. Other than the Packers, there hasn't been another team that has shown it is capable of taking home the Lombardi Trophy this year.
Midseason Awards:
MVP: Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Has gotten even better than last year and putting up some great numbers, all while not losing a game to this point in their quest to defend their Super Bowl Championship.
Offensive Player: Matt Forte, Chicago Bears
He is the Bears offense, without him they may not have won a game up to this point, could be an MVP if he keeps this up.
Defensive Player: Darrelle Revis, New York Jets
Once again showing why he is the best cornerback in the NFL, and why QB's fear "Revis Island."
Offensive Rookie: Cam Newton, Carolina Panthers
He has quieted all of his doubters, me included. Has thrown really well up to this point, just needs to get some wins now by making fewer mistakes.
Defensive Rookie: Aldon Smith, San Francisco 49ers
Played well up to this point for Coach Harbaugh, plays hard and is in on most tackles.
Coach: Jim Harbaugh, San Francisco 49ers
Took a struggling team that appeared to have no QB, and a tough schedule with all the East coast games, and now has them running away with the NFC West and looking like they may make some noise in the postseason.

Jets in the Superbowl? Not happening.
And trust me I dont think it will be the Patriots.
But your team is missing Wes Welker (over Steve Smith)

You've got the Eagles winning the East? Wow, that would make for quite the finish. I think they'll need at least 11 wins to do that.
