So what do you think Mark going to MWR?
Showing he is has no alliance with and brand of cars?
What do you think of MWR dumping David Reautiman in favor of a part time Mark with some plate races raced by Michael Waltrip and by the looks of it not running the double zero as a full time car?
Michael just keeps turning up like a bad penny and never fully going away.
MWR showing that he can no longer feild 2 full time cars and is feeling the pinch much like the other teams.
Will Martin Truex beable to hold this team up on his own?
A lot to ask of a driver

Alliance at this point, meaningless. I wouldn't expect it. He drove fords for years for rush, and always complained back in the day when ford or Chevy or Pontiac had a different spoiler rule etc. The at dei and hendrick the Chevy was the best he ever drove. It all talk. Gauanteed he I'll love the turds too.

Truex should have been let go, but NAPA is there

Not sure why certain sponsors stay with certain drivers.
UPS stayed way longer than the should have with Dale.
NAPA thinks they have something with Truex thou not sure what.
I think David is getting the shaft here.
I think he should get a chance in the 18.

I doubt any driver has any loyalty to brand. They like the brand of money, that's why they race. Years ago they raced to race, not so in the big money world of today. Bowyer and martin should have a decent year for MWR.

To bad Mark will not be doing full year.
Hard to be top 35 without a full season

I think it was purely a business decision. Mark Martin can probably attract more and better sponsors than Reutman even though I think Reutman is the better driver.

The drivers are showing the sponsors the same loyalty the sponsors have shown the drivers.
The only reason why Ford stepped in to keep Edwards was because they did not want this year's potential champion driving for another manufacturer next year. If Edwards weren't in the title hunt he'd probably be driving for JGR next year.
How many times have lifetime sponsors dumped drivers after a rough year? Plenty. Why have loyalty to sponsors who most likely not be there next year?

In a business like Nascar, loyalty can be a costly factor........much as I think Reuti is getting the raw end of things, Aaron's does not want him anymore....and no sponsors waiting in the wings.........so what is an owner to do?.........he has to let the driver go.
I truly believe Reuti has more talent than we have seen.....I also believe he is one of the unluckiest drivers out there.......I base that on some of the crashes that he got caught up in and had no chance to avoid.
I have never liked Gibbs and most of his drivers, but I do think that Reuti would shine more over there.....I just hope he can keep racing and show us what he really can do.

As for Mark Martin....I don't think MWR is getting any bargain here.......he is mediocre now and his good days are behind him......frankly, I was really surprised by this move.

Jarrett was about in the same position when he and UPS left Roush for MWR. Mikey and NAPA from DEI to his own team? lol. NAPA didnt expect wins, but they knew we would watch his antics. Mark and Danica are marketing tools. Mark has a loyal fan base that hates to see him leave, and danica has, um.. Hair.
