Who is the next six-peat superstar of the NBA? Michael Jordan has retired, for good this time so he is not a good guess. Kobe was on his way, but his beef with Shaq proved who the better player was when Shaq won another championship in Miami. Wade filled the void for Kobe in Shaq’s life, and the blueprint on how to win with Shaq was confirmed, give him the most dominant 2 guard in the game and he’ll deliver you rings. But can Wade continue to deliver with his aging supporting cast? Or will he sputter and stall? I think he will stall. His dominance is undeniable, his demeanor is top notch, and his nerves—well they don’t exist. But with so many veterans he has one maybe two years to capture success because, pending solid draft picks or trade acquisitions, his Heat will soon ice over.
With all of those great names already mentioned, who you might be asking is the next MJ? Well we know its not Dirk, his temper tantrum after the last loss in Dallas sure tells me he is not ready for the responsibility of having a ring. Tim Duncan is too fundamental, he doesn’t have star potential, his excitement level is a 2 on a scale of 10.

But LeBron James is the man. His career is just getting started. He is still so young (21), remember he entered the NBA straight out of High School. He is a freak of nature, he stands 6’8” tall, jumps through the roof, has ball handling skills, plays defense (something overlooked in the NBA), and he can take over any game at will. Sound like anyone familiar? Of course MJ comes to mind, but we don’t want to label him as the next Jordan, I think it’s a hex. Nobody will ever be as good as Jordan, bar none, but players can definitely come close and I think Bron-Bron as I like to call him, is that player.
