Just a quick definition of a NUN: is a woman who has taken vows committing her to live a spiritual life. She may be an ascetic who voluntarily chooses to leave mainstream society and live her life in prayer and contemplation in a monastery or convent.
After the the multiple spankings NASCAR and the sponsor M&M have administered on Kyle Busch I'm left to wonder, if this trend continuous, who will be filling those already empty seats in the next few years.
I just can't stop saying to myself- when did NASCAR and M&M get religion- NASCAR tells them to go out and play hard "HAVE AT IT BOYS" and Mars (M&M manf.) most of known that race car drivers ARE NOT THE SISTERS OF THE HOLY.
Most of drivers are not ALTER BOYS. Can we agree on that.
So why all of the sudden do they get so OUTRAGED and holier-than-thou about retaliation in this sport, specially when fans can give them chapter and verse on a hundreds of situations that mirror the Busch-Hornaday drama.
It was sad to see a guy who is full of attitude, who is one of the few fun guys to watch in NASCAR look like he had been beaten down, subdued if you will, he looked like his spirit and confidence had been taken away.
It really upset me. Honestly.
Thank you NASCAR for further adding "vanilla" to the sport, I guess they most think all they needs is another Jimmie Johnson or Jeff Gordon and hope that Dale Jr. races until he is 99 year old.
Just a little help for NASCAR from this humble fan, I know the NUNS do have televisions in their homes so start target-advertising that market.
You may need it.
Seriously folks, I understand that sponsorship is everything in this sport, but there has to be a happy medium somewhere, in my opinion that was not done here.
The sponsors have to understand that NASCAR fans, who will be spending money on their products, are NOT GOING TO JUDGE their brand for certain situations that are just a part of the sport.
As always this is just a fans opinion and from what I understand everybody has one and I thank God for that.
Note: just eat a Kiss, they do melt in your hand but you can always lick your fingers...yummm
