I don't know much about this Blog stuff but I
want to tell everybody about the people on
(Real Nascar Fans) I sometimes wonder about
a thing called Friendship,since Augest of last
year I have found 22 wonderfull people that I
call Friends.
A Man asked me about starting a Post where
people could talk about Nascar or anything else
that was on a persons mind,I thought it was a
great Idea.That way these 22 people could post
what they wanted without other people causing
trouble and starting arguments to the point where
some of these got warnings from the Moderators
of the sites - My self more than anyone else.
At any rate to make A long story short,One
of the group fell on real hard times at XMas
time and these people pulled togather and made
sure this Man and his Family Had a halfway
good Holiday.THAT IS WHAT I CALL FRIENDS.
I hope People that read this stop and think about
the people you call,, FRIENDS.

I thought I might update my Blog I wrote
as a lot has happened since then,,nothing
has changed as per my feelings for this group,
they are still #1 in my book. Our dear friend
JK lost is wonderfull wife MARY in May,which
broke my heart,,she was one special lady, and
a dear friend,,she will be missed a lot. JK is hanging
in there as bast he can,,he will do OK. The group is
down to 17 members, as I had to take a few people out
because of them telling other groups what goes on
and what is said on RNF.
We got thru the change over FanNation put us thru
with the layout of the Sites.
A few members quit and went to other sites on the
internet,but found there is NO PLACE like RNF.
They were welcomed back with open arms and
Fanmail Hugs.
I guess thats all for now,if there are any changes
I will add them on as they come.

friends..... yeah sly has it right and he has made a good point ... ask how i know? I was the one who recieved the gift of all the thoughtful friends it made all the difference for my kids at chrismas for with out the friends of real nascar fans ... i am not sure what kind of christmas we would of had at my house..there are lots of poems and writings about what friends are ... i don't need any of those to tell me cause I have 22 of the very best friends a guy could ever want.. and this big galoot who wrote this is one of the best !!!!! sly with tears in my eyes as i type just remember one thing...... the dr.s family love you and the rest of the gang more than you will ever know...

Excellent blog SLy and well said and well done.....It is very easy to be friends of the RNF folk...because the high quality is already there....it is like attaching yourself to pots of gold....how hard can that be?.....
I really like Fletch's stock reference, very appropriate, especially since the steep stock declines of today and the last few days.

OK, if I run into any of you some day I'm gonna slap you around a bit for challenging my manliness. You're included Fletch, big muscle man special forces whatever. I grew up listening to Bruce Springsteen and drinking beer. Alright, on second thought I'll need some jiu jitsu training or something, some mean dogs maybe, but I ain't kidding.
My eyes are all welled up bursting at the seams and I've cried twice twice in the last 7 tears. And I'm not gonna do it now. My girlfriend is looking at me, would look weird, I got this "tough guy" image I have to look after. You guys are clearly a bunch of quality fellers. I got to know you first by fighting with ya' (Fletch, SLY, etc) and then I realized "Jason, you're busting balls with the only sensible adults on this whole damn forum".
About 8-9 years ago I was playing Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator online with a bunch of fellas. We'd fight WWII battles and they were good guys. Then I moved overseas and stopped with the game. I would check in once in a while but I wasn't "flying" anymore so it fizzled out. I thought THEY were a good group, and they were, but you guys have them beat by a long shot. It's been a very pleasant experience talking with you guys.
Unlike SLY I do go on other forums, etc. That's where I've been lately in fact. But that is different. You are just shouting in a crowd usually, not conversing with friends.
