I am more of a football fan than a b-ball fan, however the ongoing brawls-and-such really sour the appeal of basketball for me. What ever happen to the days of just playing ball w/o all the right hooks and upper cuts. It would appear that the players would rather tryout for Contender than shoot a jumpshot. To be frank, I think allowing one too many young (high schoolers) or young'ish (college freshmen) players into the league has brought a level of immaturity to the game that didn't exist before.
