It is never easy to watch a bully show his superiority. Nobody enjoys his tactics. The hair pulling, arm twisting, and hanging kids on the flagpole by their underwear leaves a bad taste in spectator's mouths. Nevertheless, the bully wins, and that is what matters to him. He earns it all with his questionable ways while making those under his watch tougher. And after 1,270 battles, one of the most well known bullies in men's college basketball, Texas Tech head coach Bobby Knight, is the first to 900 career wins.

We have all seen the Sportscenter video package of Bobby Knight rants. The yelling at the NCAA volunteer who said he would not be at his press conference. The "What's a game face look like?" press conference while still at Indiana. We have seen the footage of Knight throwing a bench chair that lead to an ejection in his early days as the Hoosiers coach several times.

We have heard how he choked Neil Reed at a 1997 practice. We watched then Indiana University President Myles Brand try to reign in Knight with a "zero tolerance" stance, which we saw last only a few months, as Knight lost his job after scolding a freshman about giving respect.

We saw him tell Jeremy Schaap that he had a long way to go to be his father, respected journalist Dick Schaap, during his first interview after his firing. At his first press conference as Texas Tech head coach, Knight said, "This is the most comfortable red sweater I have had on in six years."

We saw Brian Dennehy portray a highly vulgar and overbearing Knight in the ESPN movie "A Season on the Brink." We even recently saw Knight get into a hunting incident with his neighbor, who claims that he was shot by Knight and his friends while they were hunting.
