Kwame Brown should be traded immediately by the Lakers. Even a 7th round draft pick would be an upgrade from him. Looking at how is has been playing with Bynum out you would assume he would try and step up his game, but he hasn't. In fact this has been a realization of how bad Kwame really is. Before we just assumed it was because of injury or the unfamiliarity of coming off the bench, but again no. Also, we though even though his offense was poor he still had strong defense, but once again we have been proven wrong with his extended playing time. On offense he seems to drop every pass that is thrown to him and somehow miss dunks when no one is around him. They look as if the ball is going in and then he throws it out. he i just a disgrace to the Lakers. Another flaw in his game is when he is beyond the free point line then tries to dribble to the basket like a point guard, but before he starts the ball is already taken away by a defender or bounces off his foot. Now on the defensive side of his game. One positive thing is that he knows how to get good positioning on the ball, but does not know how to adjust. It looks as if his feet are stuck to the ground. He does not moves. And when he is rebounding he doesn't even look like he wants the ball. His feet never leave the ground. Constantly guards are coming around him and taking the rebound away. Why we don't just trade for a late round draft pick and then sign Webber I do not know. Webber may be a bit old, but still last year he averaged 11.3 ppg that is still better then this year when only has kwame 5.4 ppg. Also Webber averaged 6.4 rpg and Kwame only 5.4. Webber would also be a nice player off the bench for when bynum gets back because he would be a good veteran to lead the young bench. Kwame Brown does not have the right to wear the Lakers' jersey let alone play basketball.

I'm not a Kwame Brown fan I'm a Laker fan, so with that being said I am going to say stop it already with the trade Kwame references. It's stupid! He was not brought here to be an offensive threat. Why aren't you writing a post saying What we can get in return for Luke Walton's I'll just play hard enough to get a 6 year deal then I'll play hard when I want to. Like when they put a defensive stopping wing man named Trevor Ariza in the starting lineup I'll pout and hopefully P.J will see me whining and put me back in. LEAVE KWAME ALONE OR GET DRAFTED, SIGNED, or whatever you need to help them yourself!

They shouldn't trade him. They should cut him. He is terrible. Worse yet, he gives NO EFFORT. This entry couldn't say it better... "His feet never leave the ground."

Exactly right.

He doesn't even try and as a result his offense/defense is terrible. It's all effort and drive, and Kwame has none. It makes the problem worse that people think Kwame is good because it's not just that he scores only 6 ppg but he is a pitiful scorer and rebounder and he plays a lot of minutes. Most guys with his kind of stats play 10-15 minutes a game, not 25-30, which even waters his crappy stats down more.

Webber could have helped the Lakers and I think Webber will NOT be able to run the court with the Warriors. Did the warriors go after Webber so that no one else would sign him?
Kwame, Vlad, and Luke should all be traded

Kwame is a cancer to this laker team. I'll say he is the worst laker big man they
have ever had. He should change his name to Krummy. Laker's should try to
put a package deal together: trade Krummy Brown, Luke Walton, and Vlad to
the Indiana Pacers for O'Neal. Oh and Luke shoot the darn ball next time.
