I'm not sure what happened on Sunday. Did the Raiders overlook the Dolphins in preparation for Green Bay next week?  Did the mishaps of Rolando McClain distract the team?  Or did the injuries just finally catch up to us?

The Raiders were flat on Sunday.  Hue Jackson said it best:  "We couldn't run.  We couldn't stop the run.  We didn't pass very well.  Just a bad day at the office."

Carson Palmer was under so much pressure, it's no wonder the team was 2 for 11 on third downs.  The offensive line did a mediocre job of protecting Palmer and blocking for Bush.

The defense was on the field for so long, frustration eventually mounted and Richard Seymour got ejected for throwing a punch in the third quarter.  At that point, it was 27-0 and the game was basically over.

The one bright spot was the performance of Darrius Heyward-Bey. He had little production statistically, but he made some great catches when it counted.  He's been playing like a man on a mission since the death of Al Davis and is proving that the Raiders didn't make a mistake in drafting him.

So, now we sit in a tie for the lead in the AFC West.  Unfortunately, the schedule does not look to be in our favor.  The Raiders have to step up and find the will to win if they want to make the playoffs - and it won't be easy.

Dammit.

I know. Not much more to say than that. Had you not missed the game, you most likely would be shopping for a new TV this week.

I almost dropped my teeth when I saw the final score, and my teeth are still attached! Who lit a fire under the Fins? Sheesh!

They've been playing well for sure. Maybe they are fighting to keep their coach?

My Eagles get to lose to the Dolphins next week. Yay me.

The Pats see them Christmas Eve Day. Here I thought the rest of the schedule was cupcakey. HA!

My comment count is subtracting....don't know why but if it gets down to zero I just might disappear. If that happens I hope someone will take care of all the LOLcats that will be without homes, and just might turn feral. Thank you in advance.

A month ago I would have laughed at that comment. Now, not so much.

I think there's a lot of teams that are revisiting their 'easy' end of season schedule Lady.

Apparently they are deleting all comments prior to 2009. Hope they stop there, or we may just.... POOF!

I went to a really old blog and a really old TD - the blog and TD are there, but the comments are gone. On the super long blog, the comments start at 2009 - even though the comment count was in the thousands.

But since they are still deleting, I don't know how far they are going to go.
