The Next 48 hrs in the NBA free agent frenzy, will have teams making offers that in a shortened season may have a severe impact on revenue, fan attendance, team chemistry, and the prospect of teams that contended for a championship last season not even making the playoffs. One team that may see this happen to them is New Orleans if they trade Chris Paul. That trade will have some kind of negative impact on that team. Only time will tell. In lakers Town Jim and Jerry Buss must be grueling all over themselves on the prospect of having one of the best guards in the league on their team. Can the Lakers pull that off?
Some NBA insiders say that may happen before the season starts. Other NBA insiders have Paul going to New York. Then you have the wacky rumors. "Paul going to Turkey". "CP3 is really mp3". "Chris Paul Retiring to become a preacher". "Paul and Howard to star in a new version of Batman and Superman". Total Basketball Mind Freeze.

The Lakers are looking at Jason Kapono to help improve the teams 3 point shooting capabilities. The Lakers believe that Kapono's 3 point shooting can help spread the floor and make it easy for Pau Gasol, or Bynum to work in the post. The player that will also help in that area is
Andrew Goudelock. The man can make shots anywhere on the court. In a short NBA season, the addition of Goudelock and Kapono may be all the lakers need to make another run at the title.

If Jordan Farmar was steel a Laker he would be this seasons starting point guard for two reasons. One: His quickness and passing ability. Two: His 3 point shooting which the Lakers missed in the playoffs. Lets not cry over a spilled Famar. Better days may be ahead with a possible mega trade coming down the streets of Lakers Town.
