If Stern doesn't give both the Lakers and Hornets a better reason than "For Basketball Reasons", I can see both the Lakers and Hornets take big time legal actions against David Stern. One: being the generic owner of the Hornets (Can't find anyone to buy the franchise), is showing his stupidity (and I mean his stupidity) of being an NBA owner. The Hornets on paper would have been a better team, and probably would have made the playoffs. But this ass thinking move will almost assure the Hornets demise. Two: With the wacky email from Dan Gilbert, The Cleveland franchise will also suffer in terms of not attracting big time talent and that will keep fans away. Thee: The possibility of CP3, Odom, and a host of other players not being in camp. Four: Paul is out of New Orleans and will not sign an extension with any other team but the Lakers. That means the Hornets don't get anything in return. And then you have a multitude of WACKY RUMORS :Stern can't find an owner for the Hornets franchise because he wants to run the franchise. :Stern is trying to destroy the Hornet franchise. : Stern wants to be a franchise. :Stern wants to be like Micheal Jordan. :Stern wants to be like Micheal Jackson. Stern wants the Lakers franchise to be "Fkd up". :Jim and Jerry Buss want to "F up stern". NBA players say "Stern is just plain fkd up!" TOTAL BASKETBALL MIND FREEZE!
