Reasons Why the Giants Will Beat the Patriots

1.)The Patriots will choke in the biggest game of the year.  The Giants will learn from the game in week 17 and pull of the upset again.

2.)The Giants have all the confidence in the world.  With an injury plaged team the Giants managed to defeat Tampa Bay, Dallas, and the Packers all at the other teams stadium.  The Giants defeated the Cowboys who have 12 probowlers after losing to them twice in the regular season.  Also they beat Green Bay in Wisconsin in some of the worst conditions a game could be played in.  Now they are going to the nice conditions of Arizona.

3.)Eli Manning is the man.  The games that the Giants lose Eli looks scared and makes bad decisions.  No quarterback has played better than him in the playoffs.  And he knows it.  3 touchdowns to 0 interceptions and 599 yards.

4.)Tom Brady is coming off his worst game of the year and he has an injured ankle.  I know that it isn't to serious but with the outstanding pass rush that the Giants have I know that that ankle will be tested early.

5.)Randy Moss has been ineffective in the playoffs.  When your top wide reciever only has two catches and your quarterback is an MVP there is something wrong.  On the other hand Amani Toomer and Plaxico Burress are both playing great football.  Steve Smith and Kevin Boss are both playing well too.

6.)The Giants running game will be able to rotate players and run over the Patriots defense.  Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw have two different running styles.  With Jacobs as your power back you can pound the defensive line and then stick Bradshaw in and have him make some cuts and hopefully big plays.

7.)The Giants team chemistry is AWESOME right now.  They all believe in each other and believe that they can beat the Patriots.  They are playing unselfish football and they don't have a player like Tiki Barber to run the good feelings around the club.

8.)Tom Coughlin has shown a new side to him.  He is not as aggresive and the players enjoy the new Tom.

9.)The Patriots won't be able to cheat on the biggest night in football, so the playing field will be even.  The cheaters will not be able to prosper and karma will get them.

Oh, please dream on. B.B. and Brady are going to eat Eli and crybaby Coughlin alive. They haven't been able to beat the Pats in how many of the last games ? Belichick is a tactical coach. We'll beat NY by 10 points easy.

Unlike the two responses before me I'll have to be like the team that I support and not get into any trash talking. But I have to say that your reasoning is not enough to make me think that the G-men will be the victors of this years SB. It will take more than a little luck and wishful thinking to get the job done. 1st of all the Pats will not have a bad game. 2nd - Brady is not injured and Brady to Moss will be unstoppable in the big game. 3rd- Pats defense will shut down the run and the pass rush will have Eli calling for Mama because he won't know how to keep from being sacked. He will now see what a healthy "D" line can do unlike the one he went up against in week 17. Remember Neil and Kazur were out for that game ? Well this is a different offense from the last meeting and the coach will have solved the pass rush problem for the SB. Count on it.
Now i'm not saying that the G-men will lay down or that the Pats will have an easy time of it but I think that the game will be hard fought from both teams and because of the talent with players and coaching the Pats will be victorious.
Any ways, Good luck. See you in 9 days.
19-0 is destiny.

Responses:
1.) The Patriots will choke? Where have you been the past year, or the past 7 years?

2.) The Giants are playing their best football right now...and yet for some reason, they only beat a struggling Packers team (20 yards in the 2nd half!) by 3 points in overtime.

3.) True, Eli Manning has been the best QB in the playoffs this year. I would be hard-pressed to ever bet against Brady though.

4.) The Giants have an awesome pass rush, but since when has Tom Brady EVER been about mobility? Also, I don't think Tom Brady's ever had two consecutive terrible games in a row.

5.) Randy Moss has been a non-factor only in the stats category. He is after all drawing coverage away from the other receivers.

6.) The Pats defense has certainly been suspect this year and Brandon Jacobs is a beast. However, they have been playing better in the postseason and have stopped other pretty good RB tandems likes of Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor, and Michael Turner and Darren Sproles.

7.) I would argue that the Pats have had good team chemistry all year. It might even be what allows them to win the close ones.

8.) Coughlin may be more aggressive, but Belichick is well...Belichick.

9.) The Patriots haven't cheated this entire season. The tape was taken away in the 1st quarter of the 1st game after all before they could use it. Never mind that it was a tape of defensive signals.

Lets just play, both teams are in the SUPERBOWL end of story.

Giants will lose why?

1. Eli doesn't look like he wants to be there.
2. Everytime your RB's switch out so will the Patriots defensive players.
3. If Giants think they want to run all game.....the Patriots will get too far ahead. Thus eliminating run threat.
4.Plaxico is going to get hit hard.
5. Eli doesn't look like he wants to be there.......had to repeat that. Where is your QB's fire????
