The pieces are together for the Clippers thanks to the wisdom of David Stern . He was smart enough to know with an aging Kobe Byrant and a new rising exciting super star in Blake Griffin that Clipperland was the place for Chris Paul to land . With the addition of former NBA MVP champion Chauncy Billups , and NBA champion Caron Butler , they have a mix of experience with youth . This combination is going to be a huge force and a place where other players will want to play . But they must stay healthy , and must have a coach that knows his players , and is a good X's and O's coach when the game is on the line . Vinny may not be that guy to lead them to a title the jury is still out on him . But if they stay healthy they will win a title before the Oklahoma Thunder , and will be big fun to watch . Stern's decision was a stroke of genius . An aging Lakers team on the downside , a youthful Clippers team upside .
