After Sunday's disaster of a day for professional sports teams, at least a couple of them are due for wins tonight, right? The Tigers are at Boston again, where they got trounced last night 7-1. Justin Verlander goes tonight for the Tigs, who need to show that they're still on top of the American League. Prediction: Wakefield's been tough lately, bu Tigers will jump all over him, winning 7-4. The Red Wings play at Anaheim, a place that hasn't treated them well in the playoffs over the years. The Wings looked tired in overtime, while the Ducks fed off each other's energy. Will the Wings come out like they did in Game 6 at San Jose? Or will it be another Game 3 loss to a team from California? Prediction: 4-2 Ducks. The Wings will have to face a must-win Game 4 on Thursday night. The Pistons have a chance to close out their series with the Bulls for the second straight game. The outcome depends on whether Detroit sees this as a must-win or not. If they don't, it's headed back to Chicago for a Game 6 no one would have expected. Prediction: I think the Pistons understand what's at stake here. They close it out, 92-81.

Tigers are a solid group. If the sox split the series, I would be happy. Wake got slapped around abit thanks to friggin' Ordonez. this guy is great. Beckett is headed to the DL for sure, so the sox will have to patch things for awile. Once Lester comes back, the lineup will kick ****. Tigers/Sox in the AL Championship come October
