I think five wins is a reasonable expectation with this schedule and would be a significant step forwrd after three consecutive years of three win seasons. It's a good schedule. It all comes down to Stan getting his act together on offense, however. Count me skeptical. We'll see what happens...

Someone tell Coach Stan this simple mathematical equation... Air Force + Navy x Option = Bowl Game. (Feel free to substitute the bowl winning TCU team in as you will get the same answer!) Plain and simple , if the coach has the thought of an NFL job he will never touch the option. Kind of stinks that the Academy and the Corp take third on the priority list. Its not like USMA is paying him or anything! Whoa, thats not fair of me...sorry Stan. But seriously folks, lets look at some pro style offense stats from 2007. Army 16 ppg Opponent 30 ppg. Army 87 yd rushing Opponent 233 yd rushing. Best player.....punter.(Could have been wide receiver or safety but who noticed.)
Air Force rushed for 437 yds, Rutgers 404 yds, GT 292 yds, Navy 287 yds oh just stop me someone. The last time Army was in a bowl game or had a winning season they ran the ball to keep the tough but undersized defense off the field. Winning is exciting not passing yards. Just ask New England how happy they are that Tom Brady outpassed Eli Manning in the Super Bowl. Wait that is copyrited...I mean the "big game." Well that was 10 years of therapy in 2 paragraphs. Hey great article about Lieutenant colonel Greg Gadson. Thanks USMA98. Oh yea, um 3-9 again.
