I try to be objective as I can be. I actually like the Bruins. They're probably my 3rd favorite NHL team and I have guys Lucic, Bergeron, Chara, Kreijci and Corvo in various NHL pools that I participate in. I'd love to have Thomas, but he went too quickly for me to pick him up.
Last year, the Bruins played amazingly and deserved to win the Cup. I'm a Canucks fan first and foremost, but we didn't deserve to win. Kesler was injured. The Sedins disappeared faster than a Jew when it's time to pay the bill. Luongo was a headcase. We just didn't play well and didn't deserve to win.
HOWEVER:
I absolutely hated the fact that anyone who wasn't a Canucks fan called Vancouver cheap, divers, whiners, etc... and basically said they were a bunch of dooshnozzles. I'll admit, it wasn't classy hockey. But the fact that nobody called Boston out on their BS has always bugged me. They were just as bad last year, if not worse. Finally, Jon Stewart tackles the issue. I don't know why he goes here (since he dabbles mostly in politics and current events), but it is golden.
I also don't know why he took so long to talk about this. It isn't even really a current event anymore, but the video couldn't be any better. It calls up every Boston faux pas in the last year and makes a mockery of everyone in the Bruins organization. Obviously this video is funny regardless of who you cheer for, but as a Canucks fan... it's a little solace for the fact that we stunk it up in the Finals.
P.S. The video was just a great editing job and wasn't really on his show. I'm just trying to keep up the "realness" of the video.

I'll admit, I always looked at the Canucks as a bunch of wieners, and they still are, but this video was effective.
This is what I don't like about hockey now though, there is too much scrutiny over every play. Everybody cries in post game interviews and talks like they are saints or something. Shut the **** up and just play hockey like the good 'ol days.
Marchand is a piece of **** btw.

It's actually a spoof and wasn't really on the show. Just some disgruntled Canucks fan using some good editing skills.
And Arturs, I agree. If we got rid of the instigator penalty, a lot of this type of stuff wouldn't exist... because you'd be getting a mouthful of fist.

Wow, serious Vancover smackdown of Boston. I'm not a fan of either, but I guess it helps them feel better or something after losing.
