Connecticut continues to be a team for all Big East teams to be concerned about. The Huskies are on a four game winning streak with the win tonight against the Cardinals. The other three games included wins against 12th ranked Marquette, Cincinnati, and 7th ranked Indiana. The Huskies also played very good games against Georgetown and Gonzaga, losing in the last few seconds of both games.

Connecticut did a great job of beating Louisville's press, making the Huskies dominant in the paint. The Huskies scored 30 points inside while the Cardinals only scored 16. And Connecticut's rebounding was exceptional, out rebounding Louisville 40 to 29.

Connecticut's leading scorer Dyson and their leading scorer off the bench Wiggins have both missed the last two games due to suspensions. Price played great  basketball all night long with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Price made the big baskets when they were needed the most. Robinson and Adrien both had double- doubles, making that two straight double-doubles for Robinson. And the big guy Thabeet, who has to be one of the most improved players in the Big East this year, had 9 points and 3 blocked shots.

The Huskies did a outstanding job in beating the Cardinals 69-67. They (Huskies) played aggressive and smart basketball with the passion to win until the very last second. This was an outstanding win for the Huskies, especially being fatiqued from their road game at Indiana on Saturday and the absence of two key players.

It pains me deeply to have to write this blog since I am a die hard Louisville Cardinal fan but I needed to give kudos to a very good Connecticut team. And I lost a bet!!!

Congradulations to all the Huskie fans, particuarly Jr. and 4192jc.

GO CARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When Pitt gets its too stud players back from injury, Lavance Fields and Cook, Conneticut will fall by the wayside in the Big East Tourney and beyond. Its January JFK, dont make more out of this than it really is.

UConn has finally showed everyone what they are really capable of when they adhere to UConn AND BIg East style of play. Domiant the boards and play defense. Not making any rash predictions here but as a UConn fan I feel a whole hell of a lot better as torunament time nears. Both the Big East tourney and the Big Dance.
And big kudos for becca for writing an excellent blog and honoring her bet.
Go Huskies!
