12:26 PM ET  01.21 | The Knicks have entered full crisis mode at the quarter mark of the season...... Lucky for NY fans the NY Giants are in the NFC Championship game and the Rangers look like Stanley Cup contenders... or their might be people dead in the streets with NY Knick crime capers written all over every murder.. lol

But for the Knicks the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Lets take a step backward and look at the Knicks team that started last year.

- Knicks nucleus then was STAT, Gallo, Wilson Chandler and Felton with rookies Fields and Mosgov

- The Knicks had 4/5 new players on the roster that needed to be fit into the system

- Knicks started the season slowly 3-8

- Fans called for MDA's head during the slow start, every one said the signing of STAT was wrong, people said STAT and Raymond Felton couldn't play together, everyone screamed the Knicks played no defense, the offense was terrible

- The team got themselves together and eventually made the playoffs

Fast forward to this season

- Knicks nucleus now STAT, Melo, Tyson Chandler, Davis, rookies Shumpert and Harrelson

- The Knicks have 8 new players that need to fit into the system

- Knicks start slowly 6-10

- Fans calling for MDA's head, every one saying the signing of STAT was wrong, STAT and Melo cant play together, people screaming about the defense (although it is much improved), the offense is terrible

- We are yet to see if the Knicks get it together and make the playoffs

The Knicks have under gone a lot of changes since last year.... have arguably upgraded talent significantly, but the results remain the same, the criticism remains the same, the constant crisis mode New York fans remain the same.

Its funny the same 3-8 team that started last year.... is now the same team fans want back!!!

My point.... GIVE THIS TEAM A CHANCE TO IMPROVE AND PROVE THEMSELVES....
