| 07:07 PM ET 01.25 | Besides Phil Jackson stepping down waiting for the Knicks to come calling the problem with the Lakers is aging stars and Mike Brown . D-Fish is a backup at best , Kobe is trying to surpass Shaq and everybody he can on the NBA's alltime scoring leaders list in NBA history , Gasol is still bitter about the trade that didn't happen when he and Odom were on the block . Odom was smart enough to tell the Lakers since you don't want me I don't want to be here and got his wish . Last but not least Mike Brown , he is not ready for Showtime , Primetime , or Notime in Lakerland . His coaching ability even when he was in Cleveland leaves a lot to be desired . He better thank his lucky stars he had a rookie name Lebron James when he was with Cleveland that open the door for him to get the Laker job but it won't be for long . So Kobe will continue his assault on the players ahead of him on the scoring list with no regard for his teammates (he does have 5 golden rings and nothing else to prove) and the Lakers will struggle to get a 7th or 8th playoff seed if Andrew can stay healthy .
