Superbowl Week is upon us with a Legacy game for both teams on the line. Coughlin and Eli both would cement their legacies in Giants Lore with a win, while starting to galvanize a case for Canton.
BB and Brady would both cement Canton with a win, but a loss would forever leave an asteric next to their names as they could not overcome their Kryptonite.
But the story of the week has been Peyton. Staying or Going. I cannot pretend to know what Irsay will do, (although I think Peyton gets released) but I think we will have an answer next week. Even if the decisionhas been made, the colts will wait until after the Superbowl. The game is in their hometown. The announcement would upstage a large portion of the Run up to the game. IRsay is a league man.. He gets it.
Peyton may have even spoken to him and they both may have already come to the decision. And neither of them would want to upstage the game. But Thursday of next week, if we do not know, to me, that would be the biggest surprise.
