You'd think that the Phillies and Braves are cringing at the prospect of facing Johan Santana six or seven times per season while most of the batters of the AL Central have to be breathing a hugh sigh of relief. The player currently residing in the NL East who's had the most experience against Johan Santana is his new centerfielder Carlos Beltran who batted .231 with two home runs in 26 career at bats against the lefty. Luckily for both of them, they won't have to face each other anymore. With a bunch of AL refugees, the Nationals have had the most experience against the two-time Cy Young Award winner, while as a whole, the Braves, New York's traditional nemesis, has enjoyed the most success against him. Here are the players in the division who have the most experience and also the most success against Santana throughout his career.
