I really enjoyed watching Kentucky , North Carolina , Syracuse , Duke , and Ohio State fall in their conference tournaments . All year long all we heard about from the talking heads was how good and deep these teams are and we never hear much about the rest , outside of Michigan State . Just goes to show you that the best teams money can buy for these elite programs no matter how talented they appear to be they can be beaten and here's why . When you have a team loaded with "Blue Chip " players there is only one basketball everybody can't take the big shot or make it when they need it the most . Give me a T-E-A-M that shares the ball and get everybody on the floor involved in the game . I couldn't believe Cincinnati didn't have an assist in the first half of their championship game not one assist and they lost . After that ugly fight they had with Xavier earlier in the year I was glad to see them go down . I love the underdogs and I predict the NCAA tournament will be won by a Baylor , Vanderbilt , St Bonaventure , or Lamarr . Money can buy you some great talent but it can't buy you a NCAA championship . Kentucky recuits players just stopping over for 1 year then on to the NBA , right John Calapari . Just look at John's record at UMass , Memphis , and Kentucky several top draft picks but no championships , just a lot of talent .
