I read an article yesterday about who the Cowboys were going to pick first. At the end of the article on blogging the Boy's there was a comment that said they need to draft a Quarterback instead of inproving the secondary, so I thought it was evident the guy who made the comment is on drugs and must have been smoking some good stuff when he made the comment. The Cowboys are in the best shape at the QB position than I can remember in a long time and having a starter as a backup, thats a big plus. Romo was also critisized in some of the comments to so I just stopped reading them. Romo ended the season as the 4th ranked QB in the NFL behind Rodgers, Brees and Brady and on top of that Romo would have threw for over 4,000 yd's if he hadn't hit his hand in the Philly game. Look at it like this, Romo had that good of a year behind a line that were very young, probably the youngist in the league and "no" they didn't protect him well at all. Can you imagine what kind of year he can have if the line plays well and Romo stays healthy. What I am curious about this year is weather Rob Ryan is a good Deffensive coach and if he is going to coach these guy's up where they can make stops at the end of the games and protect leads, he sure didn't last year. Romo catches a lot of crap but he is the very last guy on the team that I am concerned about and now if he does get hurt thay have a guy who I think is very underated that can come in and they will never miss a beat. If Romo struggles early this year the fan's may calling on.

I was impressed with Ryan's D early in the season last year.. but it seemed as the season progressed.. it got steadily worse.. especially the secondary.. the running game never ''really'' got going either.. this year if the Boys don't make a run deep into the playoffs.. the fans will be calling for the heads of Romo.. Jason Garrett.. Ryan and Jerry Jones

at some point dallas is going to have to start looking at other QBs. romo is 32 and his contract runs thru 2013. granted, romo has had good "stat" years, but this team has not done well overall under his leadership (LOL) and w/ one playoff win the last 15 yrs.... well, this team need a major overhaul in many areas - including QB if they continue the .500 seasons!
