I cannont abide by the school o fthought that says a sporting champion can only be determined by a post-season, single-elimination tournament. And I wish fans of FBS would recognize the unique competitive format that is presented for them instead of trying to push it towards the same playoff format that plagues FCS and the NFL.
Let us be unique. Let us uphold the results of conference play and permit only conference champions to compete for the National Title.

Yes, the CC model does reduce the importance of OOC games, but to me it's a consequence I'm willing to accept. No other sport forces the finality of conference play. I would like to see CFB be the one that does.
