The new kids on the block took care of business and sent the Lakers packing for their fishing trip . Even the ball hogging Black Mamba couldn't prevent the Lakers from going fishing . The additon of the new defensive minded head coach Mike " The terrible " Brown proved he was in over his head with his poor substitutions patterns , and game management skills . It's hard to replace a legend like PJ who put his foot down and was respected by all of his players unlike Mike Brown . Magic Johnson was dead on when he said if Mike Brown didn't win he would be fired . It's not good enough to just make the playoffs in L A unless you're the Clippers . It's funny when you look at the aging Celtics with the " The big three " and they will advance to the next round . They also have a history of winning championships and they will advance to the conference finals something the Lakers " Big three " couldn't do it with a Jordan wannabe ( Kobe ) and an the immature cry baby Bynum . I fault the Laker organization and it's past and present HOFers for not getting in Bynum's ear and telling him to get his $#!# together and man up . After another early exit from the playoff there will be wholesale changes next season . The good news for Laker fans is that Kobe will be back throwing up a hundred shots a game to get his and the hell with everybody else , you got that Gasol , Bynum , and Sessions get yours the best way you can . Don't look for Dwight Howard to come to L A because if he comes to play in L A it be will be with the young upstart Clippers and not the old aging Lakers and that's a fact . Rebuilding takes time it won't happen overnight for the Lakers and who knows it might be a long time before the Lakers win another championship with all the young talent in the wild wild west .

Oh what the hell, how about we have a little fun....

Is this the End of the Road for the Mighty, Mighty Lakers?

< SMH, I couldn't do a New Kids on the Block vid >

The new kids on the block took care of business and sent the Lakers packing for their early trip to Vegas to meet up with Lamar Odom, the new Bouncer at the Olympic Garden. Even the ball hogging Black Mamba couldn't prevent the Lakers from leaving the dance floor prematurely, Kobe is no Donald Driver IMO. The addition of the defensive minded head coach Mike "The Terrible" Brown proved he was in over his head with his poor substitutions patterns, and in-game management skills. It's hard to replace a legend like PJ (Carlesimo?) who Zenfully put his foot down and was respected by all of his players unlike Mike "What can you do for me?" Brown. Magic Johnson was dead on when he said if Mike Brown didn't win he would be FIRED.

It's not good enough to just make the playoffs in L A unless you're the Clippers. It's funny when you look at the aging Celtics with the "Big Three" and they will advance to the next round. They also have a history of winning championships and they may advance to the conference finals something the Lakers "Big Three" couldn't do with a Jordan wannabe ( Kobe ) and an immature don't know who he is cry baby Bynum. I fault the Laker organization and it's past and present HOFers for not getting in Bynum's ear and tell him to get his $#!# together and man up. After another early exit from the NBA Playoffs, there will be wholesale of changes before this coming season.

The good news for Laker fans is that Kobe will be back throwing up a hundred shots a game to get his and the hell with everybody else, you got that Gasol, Bynum, and Sessions get yours the best way you can (this is whacked). Don't look for Dwight Howard to come to LA because if he comes to play in LA it be will be with the young upstart Clippers (IMO, I don't think they are that young, Billups 35, KMart 34, Butler 32, Evans 32, M. Williams 29, Simmons 31) and not the old aging Lakers and that's IMO. Rebuilding takes time it won't happen overnight for the Lakers and who knows it might be a long time before the Lakers win another championship with all the young talent in the Wild Wild West.

I agree with your comments about the Lakers. They have done a terrible job in the draft and now have the worst bench in years. Gasol and Bynum are not much of a scorer. Both do not like to take shots down the clutch so teams turn their attention to 24. And there is puppet Brown who takes orders from 24. He needs to think his days in Cleveland living off a super star and making a rich man. In closing I agree that the upcoming team is in Okla. City but I still think the Lakers are still good enough to make playoffs but nothing more.

Don't encourage him. His blog sucks.

What's your problem ? If you don't like my blogs then why don't you do some writing . The Lakers must get younger and the rebuilding must start asap . The Clippers are only a Dwight Howard away from the finals . I'll be writing about that in my next blog and I'm sure you won't be to thrilled about it .
