Today I had a comment deleted from the TD page. As for as the recent BS, spam, racism, etc.. goes.... i though this was pretty tame. The mods on this site are so pathetic, I can't even put it into words. I could list about 8 different SERIOUS problems with the site that need to be corrected, but this is one of the current issues they take offense against.
Never mind the spammers, the dupe accounts or the 5 minute timer. Let's worry about potentially offensive comments.
Here is an exact copy/paste of my comment, in response to a topic about Greg Oden playing the blame game (IE: being rich and Black brought me down) and society in general:
Most people in America (and in Canada too, for that matter) know that any time something bad
happens to a black person, it is because they are black. I'm not trying to be racist at
all... I have nothing against people of any color. I just hate the crutch everyone
uses. Have trouble in your life? Play the race card. Give me a break.
Same thing with gays or any other "minority". Didn't get the job you wanted?
It's because you're homosexual. Or a midget. Or like to watch homosexual midget porn.
As you might have guessed, the italic/underlined section is the comment I had deleted. I might be totally out to lucnch and if that is true, I apologize. If my comment was truly racist and offensive, I must need a lot of help... because I missed that completely. Fannation, you are truly a joke and I've never seen a website push away users the way you guys do.
From the dupes, to the spam, to the random 5 minute rule, to the deletion of comments, to the deletion of TDs, to the terrible T&R section, to the smelly farts... no wait. That's my bedroom. Umm I forget. Where am I?

I agree with you, man. I don't understand why they focus on minor things, but can't fix the major issues with the site. I wouldn't take much IT time to fix the handful of major issues that plague this site.

I've noticed that often when a person prefaces a statement with something similar to, "now I'm not racist but...", they're about to say something that is blatantly racist. You confirmed my suspicion with, "Most people in America (and in Canada too, for that matter) know that any time something bad happens to a black person, it is because they are black." Sarcasm not withstanding, racial stereotypes are not the way to go.
