Let me count how many times during the season I blogged about NBA referees fixing games . NBA refs are a joke , NBA refs are t-u-r-r-i-b-l-e , NBA refs are a disgrace , Bad calls by NBA refs continue , Refs giving the Lakers the series , and last but not least High five technical foul by the refs . Now that NBA game announcers Reggie Miller , and Steve Kerr , are speaking out about it , my guy Jeff Van Gundy is starting to see the light and speak out too . Steven A. Smith and Skip Bayless were talking about how bad the referees are and Smith's plan to sit down with the league powers that be and have a round table discussion about it . Shaq , Kenny , and Charles have thrown their two cents in because they know how t-u-r-r-i-b-l-e the officiating has been . I've been beating that drum since the season started and took a beating from C-C-C and his boys on fannation on how wrong I've been on the things I write about . How I should take english classes and shouldn't be blogging . So they offer me foolish TD challenges but that's their thing for them to stick their breast out about . If I've got something to say I don't care what C-C-C , Djrocks , and their small circle of mis-informed yes men think about what I write and how I write it . Sports fans and talking heads have jumped on the bandwagon because they are tired of the refs tainting the game . It's time for NBA refs to stop clowning and trying to fix games and make the right calls . Stop the crap because you make it so obvious that you've been bought out by those that control sports betting . For the integrity of the game call the games fair on both sides of the court .

Last night in the Heat/Celtics game, everyone and their mother was in foul trouble, the refs needed to let them play.

Let the players decide the outcome of the game and not the refs .

The refs had to take control of that game early or it had the potential to get ugly. Some of the calls may have been questionable, and as always some were missed entirely (like Wade raping Pierce and the refs determining it was a clean steal) but for the most part the refs did a good job.
There will ALWAYS be calls in EVERY game that fans question without knowing exactly what happened. A two dimensional replay of a three dimensional play doesn't trump an officials up close view in person.
That said, this clown puts a bunch of random words into only slightly coherent sentences that all make the same idiotic claim...that NBA refs are fixing games. It doesn't get much dumber than that. Oh, and he won't back up his absurd claims by actually debating...just regurgitates the same garbage over and over again.

You throw around a bunch of names claiming they are all saying the same things you are...here's a FACT for you. Not a single one of the people you name dropped has claimed refs are fixing NBA games. Not a one has said anything CLOSE to that.

Obviously you slept through the games on TNT , and ESPN . The internet has been burning up with fans complaining about the poor officiating going on in the playoffs . If you google First Take or ESPN news you would have seen and heard Steven A. going off about the refs . What rock have you been sleeping under it's been all over Fannation ! By the way the Lakers shot 42 free throws in a playoff game before they got eliminated the refs couldn't help them and I'm glad they are gone .

That's an incredibly stupid TD idea.
Let's debate your claim that refs are in the pocket of gamblers. Afraid to back up your own words?

Perhaps some of you guys have personal issues that are seperate from the content provided here, but judging by what content is provided here, Chosen Few's blog is spot on. I was a biased fan when Jordan was playing so i can't accurately judge the "superstar calls" from that time period, but the refereeing in this post-season has been pathetic and its the worst I can EVER remember.

I don't think you could change it right in the middle of the conference finals, but something really, really needs to change. I agree that the limited amount of integrity the NBA had is being eroded away by absolutely inconsistent officiating. Some people say the refs should call more fouls one one side or the other. Some people say just let em play, the players are the stars not the referees. Some people point to discrepencies in how many free throws were shot by either team.
I say none of that matters. There should be no difference between a foul called on a role player and a foul called on a superstar. It doesn't matter how you decide to call the fouls, but DO IT CONSISTENTLY. Superstars should not be allowed to foul or travel just because they have a reputation. IF they are good enough to be a superstar, what the hell do they need an unfair advantage for? Why should we call the game differently because Dwade traveled instead of Michael Pietrus or why should it be a foul if Kobe gets his finger on his non-shooting foul grazed but its not if the exact same thing happens to Aaron Afflalo. Non-star players could make a lot bigger impact and more easily become stars if their performance wasn't officiated so much differently and they weren't constantly playing at a disadvantage. Why are some players playing under different rules than other players while playing in the same game at the exact same time? It's B.S. like "it's a foul if the offensive player is a star player, but a non-star isn't going to get that call" that makes the NBA officating complete crap.
I wish there was a way that the refs called the game based on was it a foul or not. Was it a turnover or not. Not, depending on who has the ball it could be considered a foul, but if that other guy had the ball it wasn't a foul. It's pathetic and its ruining the game and the sport that I love the most.
Screw Superstar calls, screw referees calling the game differently in different quarters, screw tightening the game up so that the score is close, screw not calling fouls to keep certain players in the game, and screw changing the way the game is called from game to game and making everyone else guess if a foul is a foul or if a foul is not a foul.
Get one set of rules and apply them equally and all the time to every participant. We'll all be surprised how good or how bad the stars are when they play by the same rules as everyone else.

I write about what I see and how I feel about certain sports and sports stars . Some guys take exception to it and that's their problem . I'm not going to stop blogging and it's good to know there are fans out there like yourself that can see how the officiating this year has gotten out of hand .

It's disappointing that when I watch the games with a group of friends we seem to talk about how bad the officiating is as much or more than how good or bad the on court play is. It is not supposed to be like this.

How exactly was that an "easy win" princess? Jack is still considered by many/most to be the GOAT. The only thing making it easy was my opponent was an idiot.
Creating a stupid hypothetical TD idea doesn't make you intelligent, junior. Try backing up your own words or YOU shut your trap.
