Is Tiger Woods the Greatest Golfer on the Course?

My son and I were watching the last few holes of Tiger's remarkable run at the Memorial Tournament leaderboard and were privilege enough to witness another unbelievable shot by the current Master of Golf himself. Yes I said current. IMO Tiger is still the number 1 Golfer in the World. Screw the current FedEx system, and Tiger is probably the Greatest of All-Time. In the equation, let's keep this sports related, no one's personal life should affect one's performance on the course.

The Golden Bear was 46 when he last won his 18th and last Major - Tiger Woods is only 36 and is capable of coming out on top on a number of the Majors before turning 40. Luke Donald hasn't won anything significant (no Majors) and Rory McIlroy looks like he can't handle dating and playing professional golf at the same time - you've got to juggle it my man....

At just 36 years of age, Tiger has won 73 PGA Tours and 14 Majors. Only Sam Snead has more PGA Tour wins with 82, but of course Snead played well into his 50s. The Golden Bear's 18 is within reach, and Tiger's new swing is smoother than his swing during the Haney Era. The swing doesn't place as much stress on his body as his past 2 versions. Tiger has been number 1 in the World for the longest of time, longer than anyone in golf history. He is the youngest to achieve a Golf Grand Slam. Only Byron Nelson's streak of 11 PGA wins in a row is more than Tiger's 7 win streak in 2007-2008. Tiger has also a 6 PGA win streak in a row in 1999-2000, as well as a 5 streak during 2007-2008.

Say what you want about his personal life, but IMO on the course Tiger is King and currently no one comes close to Eldrick Tont Woods - Flop this critics....
