Roger Clemens acquitted of all charges.

I pay taxes, not enough to buy a new Merceded every year, but maybe in the ballpark of a new loaded Ford Focus after discounts etc. We pay taxes for the support of PUBLIC SERVICES .... provide for the common benefit, provide for common defense, all that stuff in the Preamble to the Constitution. I don't mind paying for jet fuel, or cruise missles, or the guys who put their lives out there. They do get to blow stuff up, and get neat toys, and I'm glad they do. I gladly pay for that.

BUT -----

My / our government just freakin' pissed away a couple few hundred G's on a wild hare goose chase vendetta because someone got their panties in a knot, along with a burr in their BVD's and it really really, yeah chaps my buttocks, cuz I'm putting in my 40-45 hrs a week, checking my pay-stub to see my FED DEDECTION add up --- and these stupid intercoursing morons just wasted not only MY MONEY and YOUR MONEY, but their OWN time when they could be putting the real bad guys behind bars....instead of chasing Clemens and his wife around with subpoenas and a bunch of nonsense, BS charges.

Argh. Thanks.

Clemens used. He was done when he left Boston. Then suddenly be wins a Cy Young... and that was only the beginning of his comeback.

Personally I would rather they not pursue him because of the cost and the unimportance of the offense, but common sense says the guy broke the rules. Its just too bad these things can't move faster.

Steven Keys makes an excellent point as well. Typing up Clemens in court because he lied about garbage is bad. Tying op the POTUS is much much worse for the country.
