The Miami Marlins went 21-8 in May, best record in MLB. Since then they have fallen into a complete nosedive, tailspin, whatever you want to call it. They're stinking up the joint, having lost 12 of their last 14 and 12 out of 16 total games in June. And a lot of the losses are BAD losses, such as the 15-5 thrashing handed to them by the Red Sox tonight. Besides tonight's game, the current schneid they're on has seen losses by the scores of:
11-0, 8-2, 13-4, 10-2, 11-0 (again) and the previously mentioned 15-5 loss to Boston.
These guys are barely competing. The offense can't score more than a run or two (if any) with any consistency and the pitching is getting absolutely hammered.
I don't know how the wheels fell off but at this point I'm concerned that they're not gonna get put back on anytime soon.

Their franchise June record is among the worst in baseball, historically. Some things never change.
