Winnipeg signed Kyle Wellwood to a one-year, $1.6 million contract.
Anaheim has signed first round pick Hampus Lindholm to a three-year, entry-level contract. The Ducks also re-signed Nick Bonino to a two-year, $1.4 million contract.
Buffalo have signed Zemqus Girgensons to a three-year, entry-level contract.
Montreal has signed Raphael Diaz to a two-year contract.
Washington has signed Filip Forberg to a three-year contract.
Now to some baseball.
My Blue Jays started the second half of the season with a 1-0 loss to the Cleveland Indians last night.
I also watched the Washington/Miami and Texas/Seattle games. The Nationals won 5-1 and the Rangers won 3-2.
Troy Matteson leads the John Deere Classic by one stroke (-13) after two rounds.
